Idlewild has a strong postcard tradition throughout it's 100+ year history. What is most spectacular is thinking about what a brave public statement it would have been to share images of black people recreating and owning property during the hieght of Jim Crow. Our postcards will include a combination of new and vintage images.
**Many vintage images are open source, meaning you can find them online, on ebay and they are not copywritten. Our postcards are intended to share Idlewild's history while giving people like you a way to be a part of our mission.
